Medical Specialists Not every doctor is a plastic surgeon or gynecologist. Plastic surgery and gynecology are medical specialties that require six years of additional training after becoming a doctor. Our medical specialists are plastic surgeons or gynecologists with over 10 years of experience, and all are further specialized in the function and aesthetics of the vagina. Our plastic surgeons and gynecologists are registered with the Dutch BIG register. The BIG Act (Individual Healthcare Professions Act) sets strict rules for professional practice and aims to promote and safeguard the quality of care, while protecting patients from unqualified or careless healthcare providers. The law includes safeguards such as protected professional titles, registration, reserved procedures, and disciplinary law. You can consult the BIG register to verify whether your doctor is registered and which title they are authorized to use. Use of Photos During your consultation at V-Klinieken, you will receive a consent form regarding the use of your photos.
